Print Recipe
Brazilian Garlic Butter Steak is a tender, delicious steak that's super simple to make but will wow any guests! It's absolutely a main dish that you'll want in your rotation!
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. skirt steak
  • 8-10 tsps. minced garlic (preferably fresh) you can adjust this amount to your preference.
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil (or oil of your preference)

Instructions

  • Cut steaks into 3-4 pieces, so they fit in your skillet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over both sides of steak and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet (cast iron works great for this!) heat oil over medium high heat until hot.
  • Add the steak and sear both sides for 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness. Once done place on a plate to cool.
  • Melt butter in skillet over low heat and add in minced garlic. Cook until lightly browned.
  • Pour garlic butter into a bowl and salt to taste.
  • Slice the steak pieces against the grain into thin strips.
  • Garnish steak with parsley and drizzle the garlic butter over top. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to slice your steak pieces against the grain to achieve a nice tender steak. Otherwise, it will be extremely chewy and difficult to eat. Feel free to adjust the garlic to your preference.
