Brazilian Limeade

Print Recipe
Brazilian Limeade is a creamy twist on a typical limeade! It's a delicious and refreshing drink that's perfect for summer!
Prep Time:10 minutes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Fine mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 6-8 limes
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Ice (for serving)

Instructions

  • Quarter and peel the limes.
  • Place peeled limes in blender, along with the water, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. (If you have a smaller blender, only blend half of the recipe at a time, or it may overflow.)
  • Blend for 15-20 seconds. Any longer may make the limeade taste bitter.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  • Serve right away over ice! Or place in refrigerator to cool, then serve!

Notes

Some Brazilian Limeade recipes call for the rind to be blended in as well. I prefer to peel, but you could try it either way.
Just know that it may make it taste a bit more bitter with the rind.
Feel free to skip the straining process, especially if you prefer the pulp. You may want to serve right away, though, because the longer it sits, the more bitter it will become.
Add more or less sweetener to your taste. We prefer it very sweet, but it's up to you!
You can also adjust the water if you like. Add more or less depending on your preference.
