Ingredients
1½cupsgraham cracker crumbsabout 14 graham crackers
⅓cupgranulated sugar
8tbspbuttermelted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter together until well combined. Use a fork to help remove any clumps.
Pour mixture into a 9" pie plate and gently spread and press into bottom and sides of pan. You can use the bottom of a measuring cup for more even distribution.
Bake crust for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
For a no-bake recipe that doesn't require baking the crust, you can just chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes while preparing the filling.
Notes
Feel free to substitute the graham cracker crumbs for something else, such as Oreos, ginger snap cookies, or whatever you like! You can also add spices to this, such as cinnamon to enhance the flavor!This doesn't require baking for no-bake recipes, but I have had better luck with my crusts sticking together when they are baked. So, I bake either way!If you have trouble with the crust sticking to your plate when removing, you can try spraying your pie plate with grease first or you may need to decrease the amount of butter slightly to see if that helps.
